The µNEURO Centre of Excellence is one of the fifteen Centres of Excellence at the University of Antwerp. Recognizing that major scientific and societal challenges require more than a single discipline, these consortia combine expertise from different fields.
Focused on neuroscience, µNEURO unites eight complementary research teams across three faculties. By combining advanced neuroimaging technologies, diverse model systems, and multidisciplinary expertise, the centre accelerates both fundamental and clinical neuroscience research.
Building on the multidisciplinary collaboration that has been successfully established since its inception (2020-2025), μ±··¡±«¸é°¿ (2026-2031) intends to further integrate and consolidate the synergy between its members to become an international focal point for true multidimensional and multidisciplinary neuroscience.
