Consider studying the . This programme is jointly organised by the University of Algarve (Portugal), University of Lodz (Poland), Technische Hochschule Lübeck (Germany) and the University of Antwerp. This 2-year international oriented master’s programme (120 ECTS) focuses on finding and implementing solutions that ensure the sustainability of the uses and good ecological status of water and aquatic ecosystems, by merging ecohydrology with water engineering and integrated water management. The programme is available to students holding a bachelor’s degree in the field of natural sciences and engineering. MAEH graduates will have a holistic perspective and the technical knowledge needed for solving the complex and multifactorial problems of water security and aquatic ecosystem sustainability, now and in the future.
You may also be interested in the interuniversity offered by the Free University of Brussels, the University of Antwerp and Ghent University. This two-year programme adopts a multidisciplinary approach to study marine and freshwater systems, combining physical, chemical, geological, ecological and societal perspectives. Admission is allowed to various science related bachelor's degrees. Students gain strong theoretical foundations as well as extensive practical and field-based experience, preparing them for careers in scientific research and environmental management.

At the end you receive a programme certificate.
