This micro-credential explores the importance of culture, arts, and aesthetics in contemporary Chinese society. You gain insight into the development of the contemporary art scene in China during the post-reform period. Through the analysis of specific case studies, you learn to critically assess artistic and cultural developments and develop the ability to communicate these insights clearly in both spoken and written forms.

This micro-credential is aimed at students and professionals who in their study or professional activities deal with Chinese issues and interact with Chinese cultural and art workers, such as professionals in museum sectors, cultural and art institutions or galleries.
