Thomas Janssen is a senior researcher at the IDLab research group of imec and the Department of Electronic, Information and Communication Technology, Faculty of Applied Engineering, University of Antwerp. He obtained both his Master's and PhD degrees from the same department. His research focuses on Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), specializing in satellite communication (5G/6G NTN) and localization (LEO-PNT). In addition, as a Doctoral Assistant, he teaches courses in network security and cybersecurity.
