I have a background in terrestrial carbon and nutrient cycling, with expertise in manipulation experiments and data syntheses to study ecosystem–climate interactions. Currently, my research focuses on natural climate solutions and particularly on enhanced silicate weathering, also in combination with other CO₂ removal technologies (e.g. biochar). Among others, I teach climate change, forest ecology, and soil processes, and I am involved in outreach initiatives, including public lectures and developing educational materials for Klimaatlink.
