Christopher Delgado Ratto
My main expertise relies on epidemiology, molecular epidemiology and population genetics. Since 2005 I am involved in the study of the molecular epidemiology of malaria parasites from the Peruvian Amazon and currently as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp I am also involved in malaria, SARS-COV-2 and other infectious diseases studies from Africa, Asia and South America.
Besides research activities, I am involved in capacity building projects on epidemiology, biostatistics and molecular epidemiology/population genetics at UA and in partner institutions ( 2016 & 2019; 6-week; yearly organised 2013 up-to-date; 2017 & 2019; antimalarial treatment workshops 2018; 2019).
I am open to collaborate in projects related to molecular epidemiology of malaria parasites and other bugs.
