I am an assistant professor and post-doctoral researcher focused on inclusive research, making methods accessible to people in socio economically vulnerable circumstances so they can participate as equal partners. I study how to improve healthcare access in Belgium and in low-and middle income countries, with attention to reciprocal learning and community based care, including community health workers. I supervise PhD and master’s students, teach qualitative research methods, and engage in creative science communication through field.community and the Young Academy.
