On 4 November 2025, the University of Antwerp hosted the annual TTO-IOF event, at in Antwerp, bringing together 200 tech transfer professionals from Flemish universities and university colleges. Learning, sharing knowledge and connecting were at the heart of the event. And this edition was extra special, as the Industrial Research Fund (IOF) celebrated its 20th anniversary.
With "Learn, connect, celebrate" as theme, the day was built around three pillars:
๐๐๐๐ซ๐ง: Participants learned from each other and from engaging sessions, including a keynote on navigating the AI storm by tech journalist Dominique Deckmyn, a panel discussion reflecting on 20 years of IOF, and a choice of 7 workshops covering diverse topics in knowledge and technology transfer.
๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐๐ญ: From a networking lunch with the opportunity to connect by domain to informal moments throughout the day, the event offered many opportunities to meet colleagues and exchange insights.
๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐: this edition was extra special as we marked two decades of IOF, which we celebrated with a birthday cake.
