University of Pretoria
The Centre for Human Rights, based at the Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, is both an academic department and a non-governmental organisation. Two of its flagship initiatives are the African Human Rights Moot Court Competition and the LLM in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa. The Centre also offers a number of short-term Advanced Courses.
Since 2012, the Law and Development Research Group and the Centre for Human Rights have co-organized the , with the financial support of the Flemish Delegation in South Africa. We explore further opportunities for staff mobility and cooperation in teaching and research.
