She promotes the inclusion of children and older adults in cultural and literary debates and also studies the translation and adaptation of fairy tales.

Full Research Professor in computational (digital) humanities, specialising in computational models of human culture and the long-term persistence of cultural information. Through Cultural Ecology, he applies biostatistics, machine learning and data science to analyse "noisy" historical data, in particular historic texts and images.

Prof Frederik Swennen
Full Professor of Family Law specialising in non-conventional families, across adult unions, parent-child relations, and broader kinship. His work challenges traditional family law paradigms, particularly the ‘Sexual Family’ model, and develops a modular approach to cont(r)actualisation for queer and socio-economically non-conforming families. As President of the International Society of Family Law, he is a leading expert in international and comparative family law.
