On 12 June 2026, the Architecture + Interior (A+I) Research Group hosted its first PhD Colloquium of the year, organised by Robbe Pacquée, Eva Storgaard, and Sara Eloy. The event took place at the AG Vespa facilities in Antwerp.
The colloquium opened with an inspiring keynote lecture by Janina Gosseye (TU Delft), entitled "Building Stories: On Voices, Methods and Audiences in the Architectural Humanities". Her presentation sparked thoughtful reflections on research methodologies and scholarly communication within the field of architectural humanities.
Throughout the day, A+I PhD candidates presented aspects of their ongoing research projects. Each presentation was followed by lively discussions and constructive feedback from fellow researchers and invited academics, fostering an enriching environment for academic exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue.
The colloquium once again highlighted the diversity and quality of doctoral research within the A+I Research Group and provided a valuable platform for critical reflection and collaboration.
