This pilot project contains multiple research components:

1. studying access, functionality and quality of public water sources
2. studying what factors determine water treatment behavior 
3. studying different types of monitoring schemes (top down, student led, community-led) of water quality and how information flows

The results presented on this website are based on the data collected in September 2020 by a team of community monitors and students from Mzumbe University using mobile tools.
