Four steps to get started

You probably still have a few questions now that you are enrolled. Check these off your list:

Step 1: log in to the online platforms

After your enrolment, you will receive a unique student account. Use it to log in to the online platforms such as the student portal, your and SisA.

Step 2: register your study programme

From 16 July onwards, you can register for the course units (your courses) you will take. We guide you step by step through the process.

Step 3: prepare for your studies

Start well prepared. In September, you can follow preparatory courses to refresh or strengthen your prior knowledge, or explore the online preparation platform 鈥Aan de Slag鈥 (only in Dutch). You will find a wide range of self-study materials there.

Step 4: get to know your fellow students and the university

Join the U stArt exploration days in September, discover campus life and meet your fellow students. During your first 100 days, we also organise many activities to help you find your way at the University of Antwerp and connect with other students.

Tips for your first days

Meet your fellow students at the start. Follow the signs to your favourite spot on campus. What about study books? Need support during your studies? We are at your service.

Where and when to buy your course materials?

During the first classes, you will learn which materials and books you need. You can buy them through the course service.

Which laptop should you choose?

Campusshop and StudentenLaptop.be offer models that meet the University of Antwerp requirements. Buy or rent a laptop that fits the requirements of the university.

Do you need extra support with your studies or study choice?

You are not on your own. We offer additional support for study choice, study skills, dyslexia, ADHD and more. You can also contact us if you are still unsure about your programme. See the support offer

Would you like to meet other students in advance?

Get to know other students from your programme or with similar interests before the academic year starts via the . You will find the registration link in your enrolment email.

Where can you eat sustainably and at a low cost?

Are there activities to meet other students?

Take part in a variety of activities where you can get to know fellow students, the university and student life, at your own pace and according to your interests. Explore the first 100 days programme

Which student associations are there?

Join one of the University of Antwerp鈥檚 student associations. You can also meet them during Students on Stage or the Campus Kick-Off on 21 September 2026.
