Design Your Course module
The Design Your Course module, Edition 2024 was offered in English. Below is a brief summary of what was covered. The next edition of this module is scheduled for Spring 2027.
The Design Your Course module (45h) focuses on the micro level: the (further) design of one of your own course units is central. The focus is on the optimal design of teaching methods, learning resources and/or assessment. Either way, it is important to incorporate ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ's vision on education into your design. Quality assurance in education is also addressed in this module.
The module covers a whole year; preferably you will work on a course unit that you will teach (again) in the year following your participation. The study time to complete this module (preparation and participation in contact moments + practical assignment with processing of interim feedback) is 45 hours.
The Design Your Course module is equivalent to the Dutch-language module 'Ontwerpen van Onderwijs' of the ECHO lecturer training.​
