Batuhan Ustabulut is a doctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp within the Faculty of Law, under the supervision of Prof. Patricia Popelier and Asst. Prof. Maja Sahadzic. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the Istanbul Ticaret University Faculty of Law (2014) and a Master's degree (LL.M.) from Kocaeli University (2017). He also holds a PhD in Public Law from Kocaeli University (2022).
Batuhan concurrently serves as an Assistant Professor of Law at Yalova University and teaches constitutional law at Istanbul Ticaret University in Türkiye. Previously, he served as a visiting scholar at Cornell Law School in the United States, and as a visiting researcher at the University of Freiburg in Germany.
His research interests revolve around federalism and bicommunal societies, focusing on the constitutional structures of Cyprus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Canada.
